On Wednesday, September 21, 2005 we "bugged out" because a category 5 hurricane named Rita was heading directly for us. 51 hours and 13 minutes later, we arrived in Greenbrier, Ark. at the home of dear friends Marti and Jim. Paul & Sarah and Susan & Tim were also there waiting for us. Others also came for our "Hurricane Party on Saturday. It was so much fun meeting them all. There was Brendadi, Judy (Floweringmama) and Dan, Brenda (Chickadee) and Elmo. My daughter, Rhianna (faeries_aerrow) was also there and on Sunday we celebrated her 16th birthday with Paul and Susan catching her in a leg lock and administering her birthday spanking! Sarah made Cherry Chocolate Cake and Marti cooked HUGE meals every night and we all pigged out. She also introduced us to biscuits and chocolate gravy which was a HUGE hit with Rhianna. All of us had our dogs with us and it got a little complicated keeping them all happy but seperate. We even had our tomcat and 2 kittens and they all made the trip fine and got along pretty well under the circumstances. Without further adieu...here are the evidence...er...pics! LOL
